Refund policy

There are two ways to return a SPika Oil order: your 14-day legal right of withdrawal and our own 30-day return policy. For both, only unopened, sealed bottles can be returned.

Legal right of withdrawal (14 days)

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. Use the form on our withdrawal page — you'll immediately receive a confirmation with the date and time. Prefer email? Use the model withdrawal form on that page and send it to hello@spikaoil.nl. After notifying us, you have 14 days to send the products back.

30-day return policy

In addition, you can return unopened, sealed bottles up to 30 days after receipt. Please notify us first at hello@spikaoil.nl with your name and order number. Products sent back without notice cannot be accepted.

Exception: opened bottles

SPika Oil is a food product. We cannot accept a bottle whose seal was broken after delivery, for reasons of health protection and hygiene. This applies to both the right of withdrawal and the 30-day return policy.

Return shipping costs are at your own expense.

Refunds

If you withdraw, we refund the full purchase amount, including the standard shipping costs of the original delivery, within 14 days. For a return within 30 days, we refund the purchase amount of the returned products within 14 days. In both cases we use your original payment method, and we may wait until we have received the products or until you have shown that you sent them. Your bank or card provider may need some extra time to process the refund.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions

Custom or personalised products (such as special orders) cannot be returned. Sale items and gift cards are not covered by our 30-day return policy; for sale items, the 14-day legal right of withdrawal still applies.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
